The Problem: Food Waste in Restaurants
With over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, our founder Heather witnessed first-hand the amount of high-nutrient ingredients discarded: meat trimmings, fish skins, broccoli stems, potato skins, shrimp shells, steeped barley and more. KeysRe-Treats+1
While these items may not make it to the restaurant plate, many are still whole foods rich in protein, fiber, nutrients. They just haven’t been cooked or prepared. What a waste — both in terms of resources and environmental impact.
Our Solution: Turning Surplus into Pet Treats
