Our Story

Heather noticed that many unseasoned, uncooked ingredients—such as meat trimmings, fish skins, broccoli stems, shrimp shells, potato skins, steeped barley, and more—are often discarded despite being highly nutritional. Recognizing the potential to reduce restaurant waste she began collecting these surplus ingredients, and Keys RE-Treats was created.

Today, we handcraft our treats using clean, locally-sourced, organic ingredients and we are blessed to partner with top restaurants with a growing, supportive community. Thank you to all our furry fans and partnering businesses!
